Antonio Fuoco

Supporting the stars of tomorrow

At Kaspersky Motorsport, we think there are a few things more exciting than new talent and fresh approaches. That's why we're proud to be involved in the Ferrari Driver Academy, providing a platform for the next generation of drivers to excel since 2013.

One of the Academy's brightest rising stars is Antonio Fuoco. As we've supported him throughout the 2016 series and into this year's GP2 Series, he's looking forward to following other motorsport legends.

Antonio's story so far

Born on 20 May 1996 at Cariati, Italy, Antonio quickly proved himself a natural behind the wheel. He started racing karts at just four years old and claimed his first international win - in the 60 mini class, ged 11. In 2009, Antonio moved up a gear to KF3 where he finished a phenomenal 3rd in the Italian Championship, taking 2nd place the year after.

Driven by the a passion for the sport, Antonio won the Supercorso prize, organised by the CSAI in collaboration with the FDA in 2011. A demanding contest, featuring tests in a Formula Abarth, this in its own right, a challenging event.

By the time Antonio had come 3rd in the WSK Euroseries - in his debut KF2 season - he'd shown enough skill at the wheel of a Formula Abarth to earn a place in the Ferrari Driver Academy.

With a new level of expert support behind him, Antonio won the 2013 Formula Renault 2.0 Alps title and, three years later, finished fifth in the FIA Formula 3 Championship. By 2015, he'd been named development driver for Scuderia Ferrari, while also making his debut in the GP3 Series, driving for the British Carlin Team.

Third place overall in the GP3 Series followed in 2016, earning Antonio promotion to the GP2 Series racing for Prema racing in 2017. Through determination, dedication and the support of the Academy, Antonio is poised for even greater success in the future.
